Hear ye, hear ye! The hour is upon us!
For all you lucky little troopers that got yourselves a ticket to First Five Out tonight; Congratulations and we’re looking forward to seeing you very shortly!
For those of you who didn’t get a ticket; There’s a dunce’s hat and a corner saved for you in a windowless building somewhere. Although if you have your heart set on coming along tonight, then there’s still a few tickets that can be purchased at the door. Make sure you get in early though!
And if you can’t make it tonight, we might even have some events lined up for the near future… Who knows!? It’s be wise to check back with us regularly though.
With mere hours until event time, we can report that things at First Five Out HQ are ticking over smoothly. We’ve done the ‘One two one two, check one two’ thing, the AV is good, so no “Oh, Macs need a different video adaptor?” situations and our speakers have advised that they are ready to give the presentation of a lifetime, or something to that effect anyway.
The only thing left that could jeapordise tonight’s proceedings would be us exploding as a result of excitement.
So sit tight until 6pm people, and we’ll see you all tonight!
PS: Don’t forget to tell your mum you’ll be home late as you’re all required to attend the after party at Miss Libertine for a drink or two.

Not just a slice of 80’s gold – It’s the final countdown to For Love or Money!
With barely a seat left in the house, now’s definitely the time to get your last minute tickets.
That’s right, it’s this Thursday and you wouldn’t believe the buzz that’s going on. It’s like there’s a bee hive backstage. But without the stings and stuff. And the speakers are the metaphoric honey of this analogy.
As we promised, our speakers are top-tier illustrators, photographers, designers and street artists, so come along and reap the sweet rewards their knowledge and insight will bring.
In all honesty, I don’t think a bunch of people as important as this have been in the one room since the last UN conference.
I know you’re all wondering what they’re going to talk about. I mean, so far we’ve been rather vague about things but let me break it down a bit for y’all:
- Someone’s going to be telling us how they turned their love into money
- Some others are going to be telling us of a cheap and creative way they’ve promoted themselves
- Another is soul searching -Do you pay your bills or feed your soul??
-We’ll also have one of our speakers sharing the cheapest lesson they’ve learnt as a designer.
Just so you know, that’s only skimming the surface. There’s plenty more that’ll be covered, but I’m not about to tell you all about it now. Thursday is the time for that. So get your tickets people.
Finally, just to recap, here’s the list of A-Grade speakers:

- Zoe Coombe & Chris Evans - TANK

- DrewFunk - Street Artist

- Daniel Peterson – Fabio Ongarato Design
